LA PORTE CITY – Last Saturday, Rebel junior Kennedy Brant continued adding accolades to her stellar volleyball season by notching the 200th block of her high school career while competing in the Union Volleyball Invitational. During the tournament, No. 15 Gladbrook-Reinbeck swept both South Tama (21-18, 22-20) and Tripoli (21-16, 22-20), while falling to both the hosts and Solon. Against the Union Knights who recently secured the NICL East championship, Kennedy, a middle hitter, had six kills, two blocks, and two digs. She was 7-for-7 at the serve line with one ace.
