5-inning perfecto propels East Marshall past GMG

GILMAN — Carter Anderson pitched a five-inning perfect game and the East Marshall baseball team blanked GMG 10-0 in Tuesday’s (June 13) run rule-shortened contest.

Anderson struck out nine and walked none in the complete-game performance, needing just 55 pitches to mow down the Wolverines (4-9). East Marshall (4-12) backed Anderson with 13 hits.

Tyler Fuller finished 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and three RBIs to lead the Mustangs. Blake Neuroth was 2-for-2 with an RBI and three runs scored, while Connor Hassin was 2-for-2 with a triple and two RBIs. Alex Jacobson went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, and Connor Kriegel was 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Jacob Farrington added an RBI double and Brock Curtis had a run-scoring single.
