Bovenmyer among graduates honored at Mount Mercy Nursing Pinning Ceremony
CEDAR RAPIDS – On Friday, May 15, Mount Mercy University pinned over 40 nursing graduates at the Nursing Pinning Ceremony, including Owen Bovenmyer of Garwin.
Graduates Calli Janik ’26 and Madelyn Wade ’26 were featured as student speakers at the event. The Sister Mary Edward McConohy Nursing Award, which signifies high scholastic ability, professional integrity, and the spirit of nursing, was given to Molly Matts ’26.
