TOLEDO – Gardening doesn’t have to stop with the arrival of fall.

Learn to decorate the pot in your front yard that had summer annuals in it, using evergreen, twigs, pine cones, and other organic materials you already have in your own landscape. This hands-on workshop led by members of the Tama County Master Gardeners will teach you how to put it all together in a beautiful arrangement to last all winter long outdoors on your front step or porch.

Bring your own container filled with sand or soil and any special pieces you want to include in your arrangement. Have fun with friends while creating something beautiful for your home.

This is a free workshop. However, we do request you register by calling the Extension Office at 641-484-2703 by November 21 so enough materials will be available to all who are attending. This workshop will be held on November 28 at 6:30 at the Tama County Extension and Outreach Office. Space is limited!
