GILBERTVILLE – A trio of Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School Choir students participated in the Iowa High School Music Association’s (IHSMA) Class 1A State Solo and Small Ensemble Festival Saturday, April 18, at Don Bosco High School in Gilbertville. Pictured at the festival from left, vocalists Lexi Sager, Jayla Hemann, and Mai Knaack accompanied by G-R’s K-12 vocal music director Stephen Krcma. Knaack earned a Division I Superior Rating for her efforts, while Hemann and Sager gave “excellent performances,” per a district social media post.
