It was another successful staging of the Tama County Fair this past week from July 11-17 at the fairgrounds in Gladbrook. The multitude of events and shows were well attended. The weather stayed hot and sunny most days with only a few wet mornings interspersed. All shows were held this year including the Dairy Show which made its return to the fair on Thursday, July 14, after an absence in 2021 due to zero entries. Both this week and next week’s editions of the newspaper will feature a collection of photos taken throughout the week at the fair. Watch for a full list of livestock and non-livestock winners courtesy of the Tama County Fair Board to be published in a future edition of the Sun Courier.
