The community showed overwhelming support at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Gala where over $56,000 was raised! An evening highlight was when GCMH CEO Jennifer Havens shared that 25% of the hospital’s Emergency Department patients are there for cardiac reasons. Jennifer asked guests to consider a special donation to help purchase a new EKG machine for the hospital. The crowd responded in an awe-inspiring way, collectively giving $17,600 to this need. Additional Gala funds raised will help purchase new equipment for the busy Therapy and Cardiac Rehab departments and a new ultrasound machine.
