With February’s designation as Heart Health month, it’s the perfect time for community members to take advantage of free heart health screening offered in Reinbeck.

A nurse and dietitian from Grundy County Memorial Hospital’s wellness team will be at the Reinbeck Public Library from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 20.

The free screening includes blood pressure, cholesterol testing, BMI measurement, and glucose test. Fasting is recommended for ten to twelve hours before your screening.

Results will be shared confidentially, and follow up testing will be recommended as needed. The screening is free with a reservation made by calling the Library, 319-788-2652.
