Cedar Valley Hospice seeks new group of volunteers

Cedar Valley Hospice is seeking volunteers in the Grundy Center area to serve on a committee to help raise needed funding for hospice care and programing.

The new members will make up the Friends of Cedar Valley Hospice committees. Their main responsibilities will be to attend meetings, encourage financial giving, participate in fundraising events, assist with marketing activities and share the story of Cedar Valley Hospice within their communities. Membership on the Friends Committee is open to anyone interested in the mission of Cedar Valley Hospice.

Staff will be holding an event to provide information and answer questions about this new opportunity on Nov. 6 from 4 to 6 p.m. at our office located at 310 East G. Ave. in Grundy Center.

“We have so much fun with our Friends Committee members and are able to accomplish great things together to support Cedar Valley Hospice both financially and from a marketing standpoint,” said Chris Olds, Cedar Valley Hospice Development Director.
