Grundy County Memorial Hospital seeks volunteers

“Our wonderful quality of life is greatly enhanced by all the people who step forward to volunteer in so many different ways,” remarks Ann Crouse, Grundy County Memorial Hospital Volunteer. All across Grundy County, citizens young and old give their time to serve their communities on boards and committees, in schools, as youth coaches, in churches, as firefighters, and in countless other ways. The Grundy County Memorial Hospital is the fortunate recipient of over 8,000 hours of volunteer service every year. Volunteers help at the hospital in countless ways. Volunteers greet and guide guests, assist people with Medicare questions, assist Long Term Care residents with activities and outings, organize fundraising events, and much more. The hospital is actively seeking new friendly faces to join its volunteer team. Contact the hospital’s Volunteer Coordinator Erin Schildroth at (319)824-4147 or email erin.schildroth@unitypoint.org if you are interested in joining the hospital as a volunteer.
