The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Grundy County Event Leadership Committee is preparing to Save Lives, Celebrate Lives and Lead the Fight for a World Without Cancer, starting in Grundy County! It all starts with getting you and your team registered for relay! We would like to extend an invitation to the Grundy County Relay For Life to everyone in the area-whether you’ve participated in relay before, or are new!

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature event. It offers everyone opportunity to do their part in the fight against cancer. Just sign up to make a team with your family, friends, or coworkers-then start fundraising! Throughout the evening, participants are at the Grundy Center High School and take turns walking and connecting with friends and family around the track. During the event we also have meaningful ceremonies, fun games, great food and entertainment. The Band StraitRun from Vinton, Iowa will be performing on Center Stage from 7:30-9 p.m. All funds raised at Relay for Life go directly to the American Cancer Society’s life-saving cancer research, education and patient services.

The official Kick-off for Relay For Life of Grundy County will be held on Thursday, March 16, 5-7 p.m. at 1st Presbyterian Church, Grundy Center. Please stop by to pick up important Relay related information, team captain shirts and if you are not already registered for the event, sign up for the event.

Join Us!
