World breastfeeding week comes to Covenant Medical Center
New mothers, expecting moms and women who are currently breastfeeding will celebrate World Breastfeeding Week at Covenant Medical Center on Wednesday, August 3, 2016.
World Breastfeeding Week 2016 reminds us how breastfeeding is a key element in getting us to think about how to value our well-being from the start of life, how to respect each other and care for the world we share.
Mothers and their children will join Covenant Medical Center experts in Classroom 11 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to share stories, education and learn from one another. Covenant Medical Center has certified and highly experienced lactation consultants to assist with breastfeeding issues before, during and after delivery.
