Before Judge Mitchell E. Turner in Tama County District Court in Toledo: Armando Rodriguez Martinez, 25, Cedar Rapids entered a written guilty plea to 1st offense drunken driving. He was sentenced to 20 days in jail, fined $1,250, and directed to complete a substance abuse evaluation and drunken driver’s school. Matinez was originally charged on June, 20, 2010, in the 100 block of West Marshall Street by Toledo Police Officer Jason Dunagan. Thawgn Za Thang, 38, Marshalltown, entered a written guilty plea to driving while barred and was fined $65 and assessed court costs. Thang was charged on Sept. 6 in Tama by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Jonathan Rogers. Jacob Miller, 30, Cedar Rapids, entered a written guilty plea to 1st offense drunken driving. He received a deferred sentence, was assessed a $1,250 civil penalty and placed on unsupervised probation for one year. Miller was charged on March 9 in the 2900 block of U.S. Highway 30 by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Joe Quandt. Dolan Keith Davenport, 31, rural Montour, entered written guilty pleas to a charge of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and a charge of child endangerment. He received a deferred judgment both charges, was assessed a total of $940 in civil penalties which were suspended and was placed on unsupervised probation. Four counts of child endangerment were dismissed. Davenport was charged on Dec. 27, 2013, in the 200 block of West Village road by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police Officer Jacob Molitor. Henry Bernard Holtmeyer Jr., 45, Dysart, entered a written guilty plea to 1st offense drunken driving. He was sentenced to two days in jail, fined $1,250 and directed to complete drinking drivers school. Holtmeyer was charged on Oct. 17 in the 1600 block of Highway 21 on Oct. 17 by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Bruce Rhoads. Blake Brenton Buffalo, 25, Tama was sentenced to two days in jail, fined $1,250 and directed to complete drinking drivers school. 1st offense drunken driving. He pleaded guilty on Oct. 16. Buffalo was charged on Sept. 14 at Meskwaki Road and 305th streets by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police Officer Dustin Blackburn. Derek Allen Wilkins, 25, Toledo, entered a written guilty plea to a charge of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana. He received a deferred judgment, was assessed a $315 civil penalty and placed on unsupervised probation. Wilkins was charged on Aug. 21 by Toledo Police Officer Andrea Young.


Before Judge Stephen B. Jackson Jr.: Lisa Marie Stochl, 32, Marshalltown, entered a written guilty plea to driving while barred. She was sentenced to 20 days in jail and fined $625. Stochl was charged on April 12 by Toledo Police Officer Dereck Fangman. Court records state Stochl gave the officer a different name at the Toledo City Park on Feb. 8 when he was investigating the report of a suspicious vehicle. He later learned the driver was Stochl and she was barred


Before Judge Fae Hoover-Grinde: Wyatt Kane Slinker, 20, rural Toledo, entered written guilty pleas to two counts of possession of marijuana. He received deferred judgments and was assessed $315 civil penalties on each charge. He was placed on unsupervised probation. Slinker was charged on Aug. 21 by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Michael Wright and on Oct. 25 by Tama County Deputy Casey Schmidt.
