Suspended prison term for Tama burglary, Chelsea meth lab Before Judge Patrick R. Grady in Tama County District Court in Toledo: Stephanie Ann Blanchett, 36, Cedar Rapids, entered guilty pleas in plea agreements on charges of conspiracy with intent to manufacture or deliver methamphetamine – 5 grams or less and 3rd degree burglary. On the methamphetamine charge she was sentenced to a suspended 10-year prison sentence and ordered to reside in a community corrections facility for up to 365 days. She was also fined $1,000 and placed on probation to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services for five years. Her driver’s license was suspended for 180 days. For 3rd degree burglary, Blanchett was sentenced to a suspended, five-year prison term and fine and also directed to spend up to 365 days in a community corrections facility. Both fine amounts were suspended to allow Blanchett to pay $1,139 in restitution to Bernard and Sharon Brezina, Tama. Blanchett was charged on Dec. 17, 2013, with entering and taking blank checks, jewelry and other items from the Brezina home by Tama Police Officer Barnette Curry. She was charge on Sept. 14 with six other persons for allegedly purchasing pseudoephedrine which she knew would be used to produce meth at a lab site in the 2700 block of Tama county Highway E66, Chelsea. The charge was filed by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Luke Dvorak. Chance Collister Sieh, 19, Reinbeck, entered a written guilty plea to 1st offense drunken driving. He was sentenced to two days in jail, fined $1,250 and directed to complete a 12-hour drinking driver school program. Sieh was chared on Nov. 28, 2013, in the 1600 block of U.S. Highway 63 by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Bryan Ellenbecker. Tama County Magistrate Court
