WATERLOO – Hawkeye Community College will host a public open house for the newly-renovated Grundy Hall on Thursday, April 18, 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Hawkeye’s Main Campus located at 1501 E. Orange Road in Waterloo.

After a two-year, $21 million renovation, Grundy Hall was transformed into a state-of-the-art center for healthcare education focused on student collaboration and hands-on learning. Grundy Hall is the final project funded by the 2015 bond referendum approved in Hawkeye’s 10-county service region. The renovation expanded Hawkeye’s healthcare simulation space by 300%, increased dental clinic capacity by 25%, and increased student access to industry-relevant technology.
