The GMG Wolverines track team traveled to Conrad, for the BCLUW Comet Early Bird Meet, on Tuesday, March 27th. GMG placed 4th vs all the other competitors at the meet. GMG did have a few first place finishes though! Sophomore Brock Fisher won the high jump event, senior Greyson Fraser won the 100 meter dash, and senior Austin Groth won the 110 meter high hurdles! Greyson also finished second in the 200 meter dash. The GMG shuttle hurdle team also placed 2nd. That team consists of Kyle Barloon, Devon Schuett, Blane Anderson, and Austin Groth. Senior Blane Anderson got 4th in the long jump and the 400 meter dash. Austin Groth also placed 4th in the 400 meter hurdles.Also landing in 4th place was the GMG 4×100 meter relay. That event was run by, Kyle Barloon, Austin Groth, Blane Anderson, and Greyson Fraser. Kyle Barloon, Also landed 6th place in the 400 meter dash, we had one other relay team place 6th place in the 4×8. That team consisted of Tyler Krull, Matt Smith, Noah Sheidel, Logan Burt. Also Placing 6th was the team of 1600 meter medley was Brandon Weitzell, Tyler Krull, Noah Sheidel and Josh Raymond. GMG finished with 67 total points for the meet and did very well. The Wolverines next out is April 2nd and April 5th. Come out and support your Wolverines!!!
