In a road contest against the No. 2 Grand View Christian Thunder, the GMG Wolverines were throttled in the first half and ended the game losing by a score of 113-42.

The Thunder, led by senior sharpshooter Manny Hammonds and 6-11 junior center Daniel Tobiloba, immediately dominated GMG in the first quarter by dropping 36 points while only allowing the Wolverines to score five.

Kooper Gill was the only GMG player to reach double figures on the night. Gill ended the game with 10 points.

Next for the Wolverines was Jabari Woodbury with nine, Mykel Ratliff with eight and Abe Dieleman with four.

On the defensive end the Wolverines were led by Zach Burgess who had five rebounds and two steals.
