Before Judge Patrick R. Grady in Tama County District Court in Toledo:


Bradley Allen Bramer, 32, Springville, Iowa, entered written pleas of guilty to charges possession of cocaine – 2nd offense, possession of contraband – cocaine – in a correctional facility and forgery. He was sentenced to suspended five and two year prison terms, assessed fines and court costs totaling $1,123 and directed to pay restitution totaling $974 to the Meskwaki Casino. Bramer was cited at the Tama County Jail in Toledo on the cocaine chagres after being arrested and brought there by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police Officer Dustin Blackburn on Nov. 20, 2015. He was originally charged with two counts of forgery for allegedly signing a name on a stolen check at the Meskwaki Casino, rural Tama earlier that night. The forgery charges were filed by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police Detective Kimberly Schwartz. James Joseph Croswhite, 36, Washington, Iowa, admitted violation of terms of probation on an original charge of domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail to be served in a community corrections corrections facility. The sentence is to be served concurrently with a sentence imposed for domestic abuse assault, 2nd or subsequent offense and harassment. On those charges he was sentenced to a suspended, two-year prison term. Fines and court costs totaling $1,932 were assessed. Joseph Edward Davis, 32, Luzerne, Iowa, entered a written guilty plea to a charge of 1st offense drunken driving. He was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, directed to complete a 12-hour drinking drivers course and assessed a fine and court costs totaling $1,798. One-half ogf the fine amount may be waived if the court receives proof of Davis’ obtaining a temporary restricted license. Davis was charged on Sept. 11, 2015, at U.S. Highway 30 Expressway and F Avenue by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Sean Gehring. Randy Lawrence Eisentrager, 27, Marshalltown, entered a written guilty plea to a charge of 1st offense drunken driving. Her received a deferred judgment and was placed on self-supervised probation for one year, assessed a civil penalty of $1,250 and $100 court costs. He was directed to complete a 12-hour drinking drivers course. Eisentrager was charged on Nov. 22, 2015, atv 4th and State streets in Tama by Tama Police Chief Jeremy J. Murray. Bobbi Ann Kemmerling, 33, Cedar Rapids, was ordered to spend up to 365 days in a community correctional facility after being found in violation of probation on a series of charges. Court records show missed her appointment with a probation officer on Sept., 28, 2015 and her whereabouts were then listed as unknown. She was serving a three-year probationary period on convictions of aiding and abetting, prohibited acts- manufacture, delivery, conspiracy or possession with intent of methamphetamine and failure to appear on a felony charge. Randy Lee Stewart III, 32, Cedar Falls, was sentenced to five years in prison after earlier pleading guilty to a charge of possession of methamphetamine, 3rd or subsequent offense. The sentence is to be served with five Black Hawk County sentences. A suspended $70 fine was imposed and court sots of $834 imposed. Stewart was charged on Nov. 4, 2015, by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police Officer Dustin Blackburn. Kelbie Leonard Struve, 24, Toledo, entered a written guilty plea to a charge of assault causing bodily injury. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with all but wo days suspended and placed on self-supervised probation fro one year. He was assessed a fine and court costs totaling $2,525. Struve was charged on Dec. 31, 2015, for allegedly pushing, throwing or shoving the victim down stairs caising injuries by Toledo Police Officer Lucas Hauser. A protective order for the victim was also issued. Veronica Irene Zankowski, 31, Marion, admitted violation of terms of probation. She was found in contempt of court and was sentenced to seven days in jail with credit for seven days already served. Zankowski failed to appear for a probation appointment on March 7 according to court records. She originally received a deferred judgment on a charge of 1st offense possession of marijuana.
