RURAL GLADBROOK – The women of Chapel Church near Gladbrook prepared and served area senior citizens on Friday, Sept. 11, at 11:30 a.m. Tables were decorated in a school theme. After the meal and a short tribute about 9/11, questions were asked about guests’ school days. There were also some trivia questions about the early days of Gladbrook School. The next senior citizens gathering will be on Friday, Oct. 9, at the Memorial Building at 11:30 a.m. The Gladbrook Women’s Club will serve the meal, and the owner of Taylor’s Maid-rite in Marshalltown will give the program.
