GRUNDY CENTER – While RAGBRAI rolled through parts of Grundy County late last month capturing the attention of many in the area, the Grundy County Fair Board was also in the thick of it, successfully hosting the 2026 All-American Grundy County Fair which began Monday, July 20, on the fairgrounds in Grundy Center. “As another incredible All-American Grundy County Fair comes to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this week so special,” the board posted to social media following the fair. “To our amazing exhibitors – thank you for your countless hours of hard work, dedication, and the pride you bring to our fair each year. You are the heart of this tradition. To our incredible volunteers, fair board members, and the spouses and families who step in behind the scenes – thank you for the early mornings, late nights, and endless hours of work that often go unseen. Your commitment keeps this fair running smoothly. And to our wonderful community, sponsors, vendors, and every person who came out to support our fair – thank you for showing up, cheering on our youth, and helping create memories that will last a lifetime. The week always seems to fly by, but the friendships, laughter, and traditions will stay with us long after the gates close. We truly hope you had as much fun as we did! Thank you for making the 2026 All-American Grundy County Fair one to remember. We’ll see you next year!”
