GLADBROOK – The Gladbrook-Reinbeck Community School District will hold a Superintendent Meet & Greet with incoming superintendent Caleb Bonjour in Gladbrook on Thursday, July 13 beginning at 5:30 p.m. ahead of the scheduled school board meeting set for 6:30 p.m. Both the meet & greet and the board meeting will take place at the Gladbrook Memorial Building and are open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

During the June board meeting held on June 15 in Reinbeck, now-former G-R superintendent Erik Smith addressed recent community concerns regarding the condition of the district’s property in Gladbrook where the former Gladbrook school buildings once resided. The buildings were torn down a year ago. After meeting with Align Architecture and PCI, Smith reported that the ‘grass is growing as it should be.’ Some problem areas are being worked on but overall, Smith said, the condition of the field is ‘better than expected.’
