WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) welcomed 50 students from Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School to Washington on May 31. The senator answered questions on any topic, including his role as a representative for the state of Iowa, bipartisanship, military academy nominations, his favorite president, the advantages his seniority in the Senate brings for Iowa, committee assignments and chairmanships, flying in Air Force One, family and his favorite food – Dairy Queen ice cream.
