Gladbrook Lions Club holds May meeting

The Gladbrook Lions Club met for a dinner meeting at Peace Church on May 18 catered by the Hometown Family Market. The 2022-2023 Lions year found the members participating in the Corn Carnival Grand Parade and helping with bingo and “Trunk or Treat Night” on Main Street, donating to the planters on Main Street, Lions tree in the Festival of Trees, helping and supporting Kids Shopping Day, hosting a Lions Soup Dinner in December, giving to G-R and GMG After Prom, theater concession volunteers, member of the Gladbrook Foundation, and collecting eye glasses, hearing aids, sundry items, and stamps. The Gladbrook Lions Club was Chartered in May of 1960. The Club has one remaining Charter Member, Leroy Thomsen.
