Gladbrook-Reinbeck senior Paul Brocket was honored as a recipient of the Academic All-State Award by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches organization recently.

This fall, Brockett finished his final cross country season with the GC/G-R team having competed at the state meet each of his four years on the team. This honor is presented to student-athletes who demonstrate Excellence in Academics and Cross Country. Recipients must hold a 3.8+ GPA and have earned a cumulative score of 28 on the ACT and must be a State Co-Ed Meet Qualifier or have finished in the top 30 at a State Qualifying Cross Country meet during the current year.
