This summer Jay Beichley completed his second season as head coach of the GMG Wolverines baseball program. This fall he will coach the historically competitive Cross Country Team. Jay began his involvement at GMG when he came on as an assistant baseball coach five years ago. Last year his role in the community changed once again as he was hired as a sixth grade teacher at the GMG Elementary. Coach Beichley is stepping into big shoes. Those shoes are of the longtime loved and respected Coach Mike Peirson. Mr. Peirson served as head coach of the Cross Country program almost as long as there has been a Cross Country program. Coach Beichley taking the reins signals a start of a new era for a program with a long and well established history of success. We hope you enjoy this new position Coach Beichley.
