On Saturday the fourth grade girls went to a basketball tournament in Waverly. Our first game was @ 8:30 a.m. & we played Waverly Shellrock. We tied & had to go into overtime, and we won! Our second game was at 11:00 am. We played Charles City & we won 22 to 4! Our third game was at 12:00 pm. We played Iowa falls, and we won again. Since we won all three games, we got a gold medal!! We watched the 6th grade play. We sat above the scoreboard & cheered on the 6th graders, but they lost. We had to wait and wait for our medals, but then we got to hang out with friends. We finally got our medals & took lots of pictures & ate lots of food.
