GLADBROOK-REINBECK sent two teams of students to participate in the 2017 “Battle of the Books” in Cedar Falls. The students have been reading, studying and quizzing each other for many months to prepare! Their hard work paid off when the Elementary team placed 19th out of 36 teams! On the Junior High squad (who all got out of bed early and went to Battle of the Books on a “no school” day) achieved their highest finish EVER by tying for 8th PLACE out of 41 TEAMS!
