WATERLOOThe Hawkeye Community College Foundation will host an alumni day at the Grout Museum of History and Science, West Park Ave and Washington St, Waterloo, from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017.

All Hawkeye Community College and Hawkeye Institute of Technology alumni, faculty, and staff will receive free admission to “Hawkeye Community College: 50 Years of Making Connections” during that time.

The exhibit chronicles Hawkeye’s history, starting 50 years ago with $500 and a proposal to prepare young adults for the workforce. Revisit Hawkeye’s early days and its evolution from a small technical school to a thriving community college.
