Parents and guardians considering the use of the open enrollment option to enroll their children into another public school district in the State of Iowa should be aware of the following dates: March 1, 2017 is the last day for open enrollment requests to be received for students wanting to transfer to a different school district for the 2017-18 school year unless a good cause situation exists. September 1, 2017 is the last day for open enrollment requests to be received for students entering kindergarten for 2017-2018.
