WATERLOO, Iowa The College awarded 73 degrees at its commencement ceremony on Friday, August 12 at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Allen College conferred 21 Bachelor of Health Sciences degrees, 45 Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees, and seven Master of Science of Nursing degrees.

The speaker for Allen College’s summer commencement was Dr. Brent MacWilliams. Dr. Brent MacWilliams is an Associate Professor from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He is also a practicing Adult Nurse Practitioner with a focus on Men’s Health and National President-Elect for the American Assembly for Men in Nursing. Brent is also a retired commercial crab fisherman from Alaska, husband and proud father of two girls.

Allen College offers degrees in both health sciences and nursing. Over 600 students enrolled at the College this fall. Information on Allen College is available at www.allencollege.edu.
