Wartburg College awarded diplomas to 331 students during Spring Commencement Sunday, May 22.

Parker Bolt of Reinbeck graduated with a degree in Physical Education. He is the son of Dennis Bolt and Shellie K. Murphy.

Kayla Holbach of Reinbeck graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Accounting and Business Administration. She is the daughter of Peter J. & Laurie Holbach.

Callie Miller of Dike graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. She is the daughter of Gary & Angela Miller.

Erica Podhajsky of Reinbeck graduated with a degree in Biology. She is the daughter of Dirk & Heidi Podhajsky.

Another 41 students are expected to graduate in August. Thirty-five members of the Class of 2016 graduated in December.

Wartburg, a four-year liberal arts college internationally recognized for community engagement, enrolls 1,537 students. Wartburg is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and named after the castle in Germany where Martin Luther took refuge disguised as a knight during the stormy days of the Reformation while translating the Bible from Greek into German.
