Keith and Shelley Smith of Gladbrook announce the engagement of their daughter, Tia Marie Smith, to Sean Michael Bacon, son of David and Frances Bacon of Garwin. The future bride is currently employed as a nurse at Covenant Clinic in Gladbrook and Grundy County Memorial Hopsital. Tia is also a current student at Allen College in Waterloo. Sean graduated from Iowa State University with his Bachelors in Agriculture Business. He is currently a self-employed farmer. The couple has planned an August 2015 wedding in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
