Robert and Elaine Nelsen Ehlers will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary with their family at a gathering and dinner. They were married on October 16, 1948 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. To this union three children were born: Patti (Dale) Richardson, Reinbeck; Jim (Deb) Ehlers, Waterloo; Bill (Kim) Ehlers, Seattle. Five grandchildren: Josh (Ashley)Petersen, Waverly; Jill (Jordan) Muller, Reinbeck; Sarah (Dan) Turner, Wichita; Ben (Whitney) Ehlers, Pittsburgh; Jessica (Jody) Budde, Cedar Rapids and 16 great-grandchildren.
