Katie Hooper of Conrad and Ryan Rasmussen of Waterloo are announcing their upcoming wedding in August. Parents of the couple are Brad and Julie Hooper of Conrad and Dan and Jody Rasmussen of Waterloo. The bride-to-be will graduate in August from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Leisure Youth and Human Services, Therapeutic Recreation. The groom is a recent graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a Master of Social Work degree. Vows will be exchanged August 20, 2011, at Peace United Church of Christ in Gladbrook.
