Zink – Donaldson
Perin Olivia Zink and Christopher Micael Donaldson were united in marriage on November 6 2010, at the Church of Christ in Union. The Rev Rick Schill officiated the ceremony. Sharon Johnson was the pianist. Chris and Perin were the 3rd generation of Donaldson’s to be married in the Church of Christ. Parents of the couple are Dale and Becky Zink of Conrad and Mike and Jo Donaldson of Union. Grandparents of the bride are Tom and Nancy Wilson; Cliff and Marie Zink and Barbara McCubbin all of Marshalltown. Grandparents of the groom are Jim and Ardys Donaldson and Joyce Butler all of Union. The bride wore a strapless satin A-line gown with beaded embroidered metallic bodice which carried onto the bottom of the gown and cathedral train. Perin also wore a blue garter that her grandmother wore 54 years ago. Matrons of honor were Ashley Boeke and Brittney Gould, both sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Loori Zahnd, friend of the bride and Jenny Olson, friend of the couple. They all wore strapless A-line gowns in Lapis. The flower girl was Regan Smith, niece of the groom. She wore a white satin ballgown with a beaded Lapis sash. Best man was Alan Donaldson, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Josh Gould, friend of the couple, Curt Raue, friend of the groom, and Blake Matney, friend of the couple. Ushers and candlelighters were Hayden Boeke and Jared Gould, both brothers-in-law of the bride. Ringbearers were Wyatt Gould, nephew of the bride and Colton Donaldson, nephew of the groom. They all wore black tuxedos with Lapis vests and ties. Attending the guestbook was Monica Shelter, friend of the couple. Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at the Midnight Ballroom in Marshalltown. Host and Hostesses were Steve and Kathy Miell, aunt and uncle of the bride and Travis and Stephanie Case, cousin of the groom. The bride is employed with MMSC – Med/Surgical/Peds as a registered nurse and the groom is employed with Crop Production Services in Bangor as a custom applicator. The couple reside in Liscomb and plan a honeymoon to Jamaica in January.
