Luehring, Lenz marry July 11 Sara Lynn Luehring of Gladbrook and Chad Douglas Lenz of George were married July 11, 2009, at the United Methodist Church in Gladbrook. The Reverend Roger White officiated the double ring ceremony. Parents of the couple are Roger and Terri Luehring of Gladbrook and Doug and Glenda Lenz of George. Grandparents are Don Hyndman of Paton, Dale and Florence Luehring of Terril, and Hans Ackerman of George. Organist Chad Mussig provided music for the ceremony. Karen Mussig and Sean Williams performed vocal solos. Flautist was Michelle Banas, cousin of the bride. The bride wore an ivory strapless, A-line gown from the Maggie Sottero collection. The gown featured an empire accent and a cutaway A-line skirt with embellished embroidery decorating the bodice, inset panel and back train. Matron of honor was Heidi Williams of Gladbrook, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kelli Heffernan, Waukee, cousin of the bride, and Caela Nissen, Lincoln, NE, friend of the bride. They wore tea rose colored dresses accented with pink and ivory rose bouquets. The bride’s personal attendants were her high school friends, Jodi Fogt of Reinbeck and Christine Weissenfluh of Keota. Best man was Dustin Klostermann of Cedar Falls, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Ryan Luehring of Cedar Falls, brother of the bride, and Sean Williams of Gladbrook, friend of the couple. Ushers were Mark Heffernan of Waukee and Tim Insko of Ames, both cousins of the bride. A dinner reception and dance was held at the Gladbrook Memorial Building following the ceremony. Sara graduated from Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School and the University of Northern Iowa. She is currently a graduate student in mental health counseling at UNI. Chad graduated from George-Little Rock High School and is finishing his degree in Family Services at UNI. Following an August honeymoon to Estes Park and Denver, Colorado, the couple is at home in Cedar Falls where they continue to be avid Panther fans.
