Josey Lyn Bledsoe and Nicholas John Vasquez, both of North Liberty, are pleased to announce their engagement and approaching marriage. Parents of the couple are Andy and Jennifer Bledsoe of Gladbrook and Dan and Sally Vasquez of Newton. The bride-elect graduated from Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School in 2003 and attended Ellsworth Community College and Buena Vista University obtaining a bachelor’s degree in human resource management in 2007. She is employed by Hy-Vee in Cedar Rapids. Her fiance’ is a 2000 graduate of Newton Senior High School and attended DMACC and University of Northern Iowa. He is a market management trainee with Fareway in North Liberty. The couple are planning a September 19 wedding at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newton. After a trip to Cancun, the couple will be at home in North Liberty.
