It’s April and it was April Fools Day and several people were really on the ball and caught us off guard and played April fool jokes on us.

April 2nd we traveled to Gladbrook and visited the Matchstick Marvels. If you have never been there that is really neat to see. Then we went across the street to Serendipity by Deb for coffee and treats and did a little shopping.

Anna Morrison’s birthday as on the 8th and she treated us with cupcakes and ice cream. Many more birthdays Anna and keep on playing cards.

On the 9th we were busy-Pastor Terry came at 10:15 for worship. Lunch was from the Corner Cafe and we did exercises at 2:00 p.m. and then it was a hot game of Skip Bo.

Bingo was played on the 10th and the 24th plus every Saturday night at 5:00 p.m.

Janet’s bible study was at 2:30 p.m. on the 14th.

We were going uptown Reinbeck shopping on the 15th, but the weather was not nice, so we went on the 29th instead. Always good to do hometown shopping.

Jeralyn’s School of Dance came on the 17th at 5:15 p.m. this was fun seeing their neat outfits and watching them dance. Lunch was from Morris Inn on this day.

Good Friday worship was at 10:30 a.m. with Pastors Campbell, Love and Plocher.

On Easter Sunday a lot of people were invited out to spend the day with family and friends.

Dennis Perry came to entertain us on the 22nd and since this was Earth Day, after Dennis was done, we all planted flower seeds in paper cups and repotted some plants to sell at the PEO plant sale.

Hi-Way 63 Diner was the choice for this months night on the town. What a good time and a good crowd and good food.

Sugar and Spice was not able to come and play for us this month so we cancelled our supper for the month.

We held a reception for our loyal volunteers on the 30th at 2:00 p.m. We are truly blessed by all of our volunteers that help us out at Westview. Sharon Wambold for helped us with this.
