Our Saturday night bingo is going over pretty well. It starts at 5 p.m. and it is .50 cents to play. Anyone is more than welcome to come and join us. Sometimes we order pizza afterwards and sometimes we have enough of other things to eat.

A mardi gras party was held on the 4th; almost everyone had on a mardi gras mask with the fancy feathers. Sandra Petersen for let us borrow those.

Harry Cheeseman celebrated his birthday by treating us with cinnamon rolls for our morning coffee.

Pastor Joel Love came for worship service on the 12th.

On the 13th Neal Allen, Ken Burdick and Jeanne Conrad came to entertain us. We enjoy music around here.

The 17th was Marlys Boege’s birthday so her family surprised her with a party on the Sunday afternoon before for family and all the Westview people. Then on Monday morning she had cinnamon and pecan rolls for all of us with our morning coffee and then of course it was St. Patrick’s Day so we had to party some more. Almost everyone had some green on. We played a couple of games about the Irish and then we ate again. We had crackers, sausage and cheese, shamrock sugar cookie and balarany stones. Some played cards and some just sat around to visit. That was a busy and fun day.

Corner Cafe comes a couple of times a month and Morris Inn treats us once a month so this is always a fun surprise to see what we are going to get to eat.

Cherry turnovers is what Dick Ohrt had for our morning coffee for his birthday.

This time we served chili soup, turkey sandwiches and cookies for supper on the night that Sugar & Spice came to entertain us.

Katy Holst’s family brought the cookies that they had for her 70th birthday. Everyone knows thats what we do best around here is eat.

The Waterloo mothers chorus came to sing for us on the 25th. This is always a fun time and what a bunch of good singers.

Twelve of us finally got to go out for our Night Out. We had to cancel thee times because of the weather. So we traveled to Dike and ate at Slice. Even though it rained we still had a good time.
