Westview February news

Sorry this is so late but it seems like we have been so busy. I don’t know why because of all the snow we’ve had, nobody wants to go anywhere when it is cold, or blowing snow, or icy.

But you know what? We are having a good time at Westview. You should hear all the laughing at the coffee table in the morning while everyone waits for their mail. There are people in the dining room having a good time when I’m ready to go home.

Several things had to be cancelled because of the weather. What we hated the most was the Dike-New Hartford show choir was coming to entertain us, but they didn’t have school that day. They put on a good show.

Otherwise we are doing our usual things like cards, bingo, exercises, book club, Janet’s bible study, our once a month meal from The Shack, Truncks and Corner Cafe.

We had a valentine party and to everyone that bought us valentine cookies, they were delicious.

One afternoon we had victory donuts from the Fountain on Main and that brought back a lot of memories and good conversation.

Of course Sugar & Spice came to entertain us on the 25th and Mary Lou Moser and Kelly Dinsdale helped out with the supper.

Pastors Plocher, Love and Campbell came to Westview for the Ash Wednesday worship service. We had a good group for this.

Kelly decorated for us. She did Christmas which was beautiful, Valentines and now St. Patricks Day and Easter just around the corner. Also we are doing some redecorating and changing around here at Westview, so stop in and check us out.

Better get this to the Courier office because March is marching right along. Take care.
