Ralph and Mary Hook celebrated their 45th anniversary, October 28 with a surprise get together with family and a few friends at the Pizza Ranch in Cedar Falls. The party planned by their two sons, Curt and son Trenton of Ackley and David and Amy and girls Liz, Marg and Lydia of Holland.

Mary is retired from the Grundy Care Center and Ralph is semi retired from farming with Gerald Ehrig where he has worked for 53 years. He started working in the fall of 1964 at age 17.
