Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Wrage of Gladbrook, Iowa are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Angela Marie (Wrage) Ablaberdieva to Maruf Merganjonovich Ablaberdiev, son of Mavluda Sattarova and the late Mr. Merganjon Ablaberdiev of Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Angela is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, and she plans to begin her PhD in physical chemistry at the University of Wisconsin Madison this fall. Maruf holds a degree in English language teaching from BELTEI University in Cambodia, and he hopes to continue his career in ESL teaching. The couple celebrated their marriage in a religious ceremony in Ankara, Turkey on July 12, 2015, followed by a traditional Uzbek wedding celebration in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on July 11, 2016. The marriage was confirmed in a courthouse ceremony in Toledo, Iowa on February 21, 2017.
