Alexis Montgomery and Adam Watermiller, both of Ankeny, are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage. Parents of the couple are Michael and Jodi Montgomery of Cannon Falls, Minn. and Bob and Annette Watermiller of Reinbeck.

The bride to be is a graduate of Drake University. Adam is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. Alexis and Adam are both employed as IT Application Analysts at Principal Financial in Des Moines, The September wedding will take place in Cannon Falls.
