Dennis and Marilyn Evans of Reinbeck announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their son, Robert Evans to Katherine Eisbrener. Katherine is the daughter of Jeff Eisbrener of Newton, Iowa and Rita Brown of Stillwater, Minn.

Katherine is a 2010 graduate of Central College and is currently employed as an actuary at Wellmark Blue Cross and Shield in Des Moines.

Robert graduated from Gladbrook Reinbeck High School in 2002 and received his BS from Central College in 2006. He currently is employed as a chemist at Barton Solvents in Des Moines.

Robert and Katherine are planning a July 11 wedding in Galena, Ill.
