In honor of Harold and Verena Vorba’s 60th wedding anniversary, please join them on Sunday, December 28, 2014 between 2-4 p.m. at the Traer United Methodist Church.

Verena Juel and Harold Vorba were married on Dec. 26, 1954 at the First Methodist Church in Grundy Center.

They farmed the home place south of Traer for 42 years and retired to Traer in 1996. Verena was a teacher and substitute for many of those years.

Their children are Jill (Denny) Berger of Traer and Jed (Lisa) Vorba of Mason City.

Grandchildren include Melinda (Trevor) Oberholtz of Adair, Scott (Alana) Berger of Cedar Falls, Lincoln Vorba of Cedar Rapids and Morgan Vorba of Iowa City.

They are great-grandparents to Reis Berger and Alora Oberholtz. The couple requests no gifts, please.
