Richard Bensen and Karen Patten were married on Oct. 3, 1981 in Cedar Falls. They will celebrate with a family dinner.

Richard works at Delta Industries in Dike. Karen works for the City of Dike.

They are parents of three sons: Chris & Jessica of Dike; Kevin at home and PFC Russell Benson in the U.S. Army stationed in South Korea and three grandchildren: MaKayla, Dakota and Leakyn.
