Lindsay Jans and Zachary Thompson of Mason City are announcing their engagement and approaching wedding.

Parents of the couple are Mike and Lora Jans of Reinbeck and Paul and Jen Thompson and Vickie and Matt VanHeel of Mason City.

The bride-to-be is a graphic designer at Globe Gazette and her fiance is employed at North Iowa Community Action Org. and Bart Pals Construction, all in Mason City.

They will be married August 19th at 3:00 p.m. on Lady of the Lake in Clear Lake with a reception to follow.

Brandon Volkens and Natalie Peters of rural Gladbrook are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Mark and Diana Volkens of rural Gladbrook and Craig and Marilyn Peters of Gladbrook.

Grandparents are Richard and Romagene Volkens of rural Gladbrook.

They will be married on August 13th at the United Church of Christ in Reinbeck.
