Staci Hockemeyer and Eric Hemesath, both of Des Moines are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage.

Parents of the couple are Allen and Mary Kay Hockemeyer, and Doug and Colleen Hemesath both of Hudson.

Staci, a graduate of Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School is employed as a renal dietitian for DaVita, Inc.

Eric, a graduate of Hudson High School is an IT consultant for Diligent IS.

A July wedding is being planned in Des Moines.
