Kim Niedermann and Mark Vavra are excited to announce their engagement and approaching wedding.

Parents of the couple are Craig and Pat Niedermann of Reinbeck and Leslie and Connie Vavra of Amherst, Nebraska.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School, a 2009 graduate of Drake University where she is attending graduate school, and is employed by Sysco Food Services of Iowa in Ankeny. The groom-elect is a 2008 graduate of University of Nebraska Kearney and is employed by Principal Financial Group in Des Moines.

The couple is planning a 2 p.m. ceremony on September 11 at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Reinbeck. The couple reside in Des Moines.
