Anniversary

Gale and Delores Folkerts celebrated their 50th anniversary with a family dinner in Florida and are going to have a family dinner in Waterloo.

Gale and Delores (Henze) Folkerts were married June 4, 1960 at Salem Lutheran Church in rural Parkersburg.

Mr. Folkerts is part owner of Folkerts & Son Trucking. Mrs. Folkerts is a home maker.

Their children are Dave and Barb Folkerts, Karla and Victor Dalrymple all of Melbourne, FL. and Deb and Scott Wical of Reinbeck.

They have nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Anniversary

Alfred and Betty Jane Cheeseman will observe their 66th wedding anniversary on May 29. Alfred C. Cheeseman and Betty Jane Mack were married May 29, 1944 at Walnut Street Baptist Church in Waterloo.

Al retired from Standard Oil. Betty Jane worked at the Reinbeck swimming pool and Pioneer.

They have two children-Alfred and Jill Cheeseman of Seattle, Wash. and Dick and Dianne of Waverly. There are four grandchildren, one great grandchild , two step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
